What is Compost Tea?

        		Compost tea is a liquid produced by leaching soluble nutrients and extracting beneficial bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes from compost. The benefits of compost tea include reducing the negative impacts of chemical based products on beneficial microorganisms in the soil,protecting plant surfaces with organisms which occupy infection sites that prevent disease-causing organisms from finding the plant, and aid plant growth, as a result of improving the availability of plant soluble nutrients and minerals thru soil microbial activity.
